Tree pruning:

During crown shaping and maintenance, we not only prune out dry, diseased, crossing branches, but also try to integrate the trees into their built environment, often shortening crown sections that reach the building or wires. We can also correct growth defects and anomalies with small pruning cuts.

Tree bracing:

By installing a special, high-load-bearing rope, strong pruning can be avoided, allowing even cracked or hollow scaffold branches to be preserved. The rope helps with the load on damaged branches, giving the tree time to heal. At the same time, it also protects objects and buildings around the tree from falling branches.

This method is highly versatile and can be used for anchoring both elongated tree groups and leaning trees.

Cavity treatment:

Whether due to cracks or previous heavy pruning, cavities and holes can often form in the tree. Cavity treatment is used to slow down the activity of wood decay fungi by creating a dry environment and removing dead wood that stands in the way of the growing of scar tissue, so the wound can heal unhindered.

Inspection and follow-up care of the cavities is particularly important to monitor changes in the tree's statics and prevent wind breakage and other potential issues.

Stabilisation and propping systems:

We correct the deteriorating and failing statics of trees by designing a support system, so that in most cases the original crown size can be maintained. This also helps us to preserve real veteran trees for posterity.

Depending on the condition of the tree, it may be possible either to stabilize the tree or to relieve the stress on the tension fibres by lifting back the branches to a certain extent.

Trench root protection:

In some cases, for example during construction work, it may be unavoidable to cut the roots. The trench root protection technology provides a more favourable environment for fresh roots to emerge after pruning and protects the pruned root ends from further damage.

The root curtain can be quickly installed, allowing the trees to be preserved for a long time and preventing slow dehydration after soil works.

Root guidance:

This technology helps trees and built environment to coexist in the long term. By diverting roots, they can avoid pipes and wires running in the ground, so that no damage is done either to the root and either to pavements or other structures around.

z a technológia segíti a fák és az épített környezet hosszútávú együttélését. A gyökerek roncsolódásmentesen tudják elkerülni a földben futó csöveket, vezetékeket, így a járdalapokban vagy más építményekben sem keletkezik kár.

Ivy removal:

Climbing plants, most commonly the ivy, can be retained for ornamental purposes, but when they are creeping above the tree's crown base, they can cause serious problems. Ivy wraps around branches, preventing them from thickening and its vines trap dust and organic matter, creating a soil-like environment that fosters wood-decaying fungi.

Another disadvantage is that they make tree inspection impossible, as they can hide cavities or extensive bark injuries. However, it can be removed without damaging the tree.

Mistletoe removal:

This semi-parasitic plant poses a serious problem for trees, as its roots penetrate the bark and take nutrients directly from the tree's vascular system. Infested branches often dry back and the mistletoe itself also places a heavy load on the infected tree in terms of increased weight and wind-bearing surface.

We use a special removal method, which allows the tree's foliage to be retained while most mistletoe will dry back after the first pruning.

Tree protection on construction sites:

Most physical damage is done to trees during construction and renovation. In many cases, a consultation with the contractor about tree protection zones can be sufficient, but we can also assist in creating a detailed tree protection plan.

Root damage or even the bruise of the bark is often only visible in the fifth or eight year after construction, when the crown starts to lose its vitality and larger cavities start to appear.

Mulching and soil cover:

The soil around tree roots often receives the least attention, yet compacted topsoil or even grass can alter soil life, affecting the tree's health. Whether it's by creating a shredded mulch or planting taller patches of plants, we can improve soil fertility and water balance and mitigate the effects of dry periods.

Tree inventory:

We can see more and more plastic, numbered tags on trees. This indicates that the tree has been assessed, its data recorded and is being managed and monitored according to a plan. The tree register is no longer a privilege for trees in parks and streets, but a service available to everyone, so that we can also keep a close eye on trees/groups of trees in private gardens as well.

Visual tree assessment:

In most cases, by observing warning signs, immune reactions, cracks and other environmental factors, we can already predict with a high degree of certainty the condition of the trees, the necessary interventions and their urgency. With regular monitoring, developing tree defects can be easily treated with minimal intervention.

Instrumental tree assessment:

We also have digital tools to accurately assess the condition of the tree and the root system. These instruments quantify how much load the tree can take and what safety factor we can expect.

The fee for te on-site survey and consultation is 15.000 HUF. Outside the county of Pest, depending on the distance, I will also count an additional travel cost. If the tree care work is ordered later, I will deduct the 15.000 HUF consultation fee from the total amount.

I will also happy to provide you with a quotation based on photos, which is free of charge; you can send me photos via email or Facebook. It would be important for me that the whole tree/trees are visible in the photo.
